A very dear friend of mine lost her father and yesterday they held a celebration of life. It was held at a restaurant in a separate room. There were appetizers, cocktails and a power point of pictures of him throughout the years. It was the first celebration of life that I've attended and it really made me change my prospective. I think when I pass I would like to have people celebrate my life and not have a funeral service. Though I cried during the eulogy the general atmosphere of the gathering was not sad. People were smiling sharing stories and personal memories of him as well as smiling while viewing the picture power point. I personally think a celebration of life is a wonderful way to remember our loved ones.
